Urban Canyons Ltd was established in 2006 in London and Manchester as a fully integrated production and distribution company, specialising in lifestyle, arts and youth culture documentaries. Urban Canyons is the production and distribution partner for the UK’s online arts showcase NoiseFestival.com Urban Canyons MD Sebastian Peiter started his television career producing and directing youth and arts documentaries for various European broadcasters. After working as in-house Director for the BBC Arts department, Sebastian completed a Creative Business Course at London Business School.

For the new URBANATION (13x25’) HD series from 13x trend capitals around the world, Urban Canyons and its distribution partner TVF International are seeking co-production partners and pre-sales involving broadcasters, VOD and mobile operators. Urban Canyons is also signing up co-production partners for URBANATION AFRICA (13x25’) scheduled for the 2010 Soccer World Cup in South Africa.

Urban Canyons offers cost-effective television production and crewing services via its international production network of local directors and camera operators based in New York, Tokyo, London, Berlin and Paris. For four years, Urban Canyons produced a weekly television series on international youth culture for Switzerland national television. The URBANATION series was developed and produced by Damian Schnyder and Sebastian Peiter. Production and crewing clients include arts documentaries for NDR, WDR, ARTE, 3sat, BBC and SF.
